Why TipSquirrel Needs You?

Today’s post takes a little departure from the norm to allow me to ask for you assistance. Below is a copy of an email that I started circulating, if you can help then it would be great to hear from you. If you know of someone, or an organisation that may benefit from being included please feel free to forward this email invitation to them.

On Tuesday 9 March TipSquirrel.com hopes to start something new and would welcome your opinion.

I am looking to launch a Photoshop News podcast and inviting those ‘in the field’ to submit anything that they would like included.

I’m looking for news related to Photoshop, Lightroom, photography and design that may be of interest to our growing number of readers. This includes any new products, publications, articles or courses that people may be running. All contributors will be named verbally and listed at the end. Any web links will be published with the podcast at TipSquirrel.com as well as read out and written clearly on screen.

News items would need to be submitted by the Saturday prior to the podcast to allow time for recording and post production.

TipSquirrel is completely independent so there is no conflict of interest issues and will report anything that is of interest.

The podcast will be an audio-visual production but the initial plan is to make the graphics very simple unless a specific item needs to be shown. Software for example would be best shown than described.

The presenter will be yours truly – in a previous life a trained voice over artist.

I would be extremely grateful for your feedback about this project.

Many thanks

Monday Links

Today is a simple blog, but one I hope you’ll find useful. Here’s a collection of Photoshop trainers on the net and Twitter. I’m not claiming it’s a comprehensive list, but it’s a start.

If you know of someone that’s missing, please let me know and I’ll update the list.
